In line with Articles 13 and 14 of the GDPR, this page explains what data we process, why and on what legal basis, who receives it, how long we keep it and what your rights are. In short: no cookies and no advertising, cookie-free visit statistics (Umami) and no other third-party resources until you ask for them.

Data controller

The controller is the owner of Mobil House Tirreno. Contact: [email protected].

What data we process, why and on what legal basis

When you ask for information or a booking, we process the data you enter in the form: name, e-mail, phone (optional), country, dates, number of guests, chosen extras and message.

  • Replying to your request. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Managing your stay, if you book. Legal basis: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
  • Reporting guests to the Questura (police) through the Alloggiati Web portal, a legal obligation in Italy (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). This requires each guest's ID document on arrival.

Name and e-mail are needed so we can reply. All other fields are optional.

How your request is sent

  • By default, the request is sent from the e-mail program on your own device to the owner's e-mail address. This website does not store it and uses no intermediaries.
  • If the owner enables Formspree (sending without opening your e-mail program), the data passes through Formspree, Inc., whose infrastructure is in the United States. According to formspree.io/security, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (checked 26/10/2026).
  • WhatsApp is used only if you press that button. The service is provided by WhatsApp Ireland Limited to users in the EU.

Recipients and transfers

  • Owner's mailbox: Gmail (Google LLC, United States), certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (participant 5780 on dataprivacyframework.gov; checked 26/10/2026).
  • Questura: guest data only, as required by law.
  • Map: only if you press "Load map", your browser requests tiles from the OpenStreetMap Foundation (United Kingdom, a country with an EU adequacy decision), which receives your IP address. See its privacy policy.
  • Partner links: when you click one, you leave this site for the partner's website, which applies its own privacy policy. This website loads no partner scripts.
  • Hosting: the provider that hosts this website may log technical connection data (IP address, date, page requested) for security and operation, for the period set out in its own policy.
  • Payments: if you pay the deposit with Stripe or PayPal through the link sent with the confirmation, that service processes your payment data under its own policy; the owner never sees your card details.
  • Visit statistics: the site uses Umami Cloud, by Umami Software, Inc. (United States), as a processor under its data processing agreement, with data held in its EU region. It receives the page visited, the referring site, browser, operating system, device type and approximate location, plus clicks on partner links and WhatsApp and the sending of requests. It uses no cookies. Legal basis: legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Data is kept for the period of the plan in use (6 months on the free plan; checked: 28/10/2026).

How long we keep it

Requests that do not lead to a booking are kept for 12 months from the last contact. Booking data is kept for as long as Italian civil and tax law requires (accounting records, 10 years, Art. 2220 of the Codice civile).

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability by writing to [email protected]. You can also lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).

Cookies and local storage

This website uses no cookies. It only stores the language you choose in your browser (localStorage). There is no analytics or advertising. No third-party resource is loaded until you ask for it: fonts are hosted on the site itself.

To count visits it loads the Umami script, which uses no cookies (see “Recipients and transfers”). No other third-party resource is loaded until you ask for it: fonts are hosted on the site itself.

Affiliate links

Some links to partners (tours, car hire, trains, insurance…) are affiliate links and carry rel="sponsored". If you book through one, the owner may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The partner may use its own cookies on its website.
